African Hope Update

The Budd family has been re-united in West Africa. We Praise God!
Kim, Natalie, Preston and Daniel have been in Ohio for the previous two weeks, attempting to tie up all loose ends. This aspect of the ministry is a difficult time as we go from one continent to another. This is not quite like moving across town or to another state…it is a bit more complicated. Kim and the children were ninety percent successful in their endeavors. We can hand over the ministry to many others who are always there for us and the ministry of African Hope. I would like to take the time to thank a few of them.
Keith and Karla Rowe are our forwarding agents and attend Fairfield Christian Church.. They handle all the business that is needed to be handled for the Budds and for African Hope. This is no small task! The have done this for many years and are doing a wonderful ministry!
Kevin and Robin Updegrove are team leaders for Ghana Outreach Team coming in June. They are from Eastland Christian Church which was the base for Operation BookShelf. They assisted in collecting over 100,000 books, along with many items that are now being shipped to Ghana. Most of the boxes were packed and loaded by them or under their management. Many from Eastland CC worked on this huge project. It was the Updegroves who assisted in procuring all the furniture and items needed to set up a household upon our return…they are sold out for this ministry!
Jerry Buboltz, thanks for stepping up and allowing the Budds to live in your house for the last month. You are a blessing! We pray that it sells ASAP.
Julian and Dawn Smith, Thank you for sponsoring our living quarters for the remainder of the time we were in the USA. This family has been a blessing to us and we are truly grateful for their sacrifice.
Joshua Hamilton is the webmaster for www.africanhope.com; he is now developing a new site that we hope to launch this by Valentines Day. He continues to do a wonderful job and is now planning on moving to Ghana in the near future. Wow!
Tami Shobe, thanks for your entire ministry in assisting the children from Ghana in getting medical care in the USA (mostly Ohio). She has been a blessing to so many children in need of surgeries and is continually asking for more children to assist. Tami procures the needed medical care, operations, facilities, physical therapy and all the follow up for these needy children. She is a blessing and we thank you for your wonderful ministry.
There are many other Ghana Outreach Team leaders and team members who are coming this year, many others who are assisting them in their preparation, and so many more who are assisting this ministry. All are part of African Hope as it expands over several continents, making it easier for us to minister all over the world.
We have recently received invitation to visit Australia, New Zealand and Norway for ministry. The time is short and the need to share the Good News is paramount, possibly you should be praying about how you can assist us in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
